Notomato Sauce
  • 1 cup drained bottled roasted peppers (235g)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (35g)
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic (10g)
  • 1 tsp fresh basil, 4-5 leaves (2g)
  • 1 tsp fresh oregano, 6-7 leaves (2g)
  • 1 tbs flour (8g)
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
This tomato sauce has no tomatoes, and you would hardly know it! It's also much faster to make. Two portions.

STEP 1: Use bottled grilled peppers, or prepare your own with this peeled peppers method.
STEP 2: Place all the ingredients in a blender and liquefy.
STEP 3: Transfer to a cook pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes.
STEP 4: Substitute anywhere you may need tomato sauce, here shown on the obvious... pasta.
